Dr. Sorokin is a professor in the Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Wayne State University School of Medicine. He has been a clinician-researcher since 1980 and has held several positions of administrative authority at Wayne State University and the Detroit Medical Center. He currently serves as director of the Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine. Dr. Sorokin was principle investigator at Wayne State University of the NICHD-supported Maternal Fetal Medicine Unit Network (MFMU Network) for 11 years and is currently the principle investigator of the MFMU at Wayne State University for follow up of infants and mothers participating in randomized trials.
